Six Months In

Wash and Go 6 Months AFTER my BC

Wash and Go after my BC

I'm happy with my growth.

I trim my own ends every 8 weeks.  My hair seems to thrive right after a good trim, and I only take off about 1/4 inch.
I've been wearing stretched out styles more and more, which I love!  So does everyone else.  I like the way you can really see the length of my hair.
Lately, when I do my wash and gos, I've been doing the shingling method, which takes a lot longer, but my curls are super defined and just beautiful.

I'm loving this journey!

I'll probably get it straightened in the fall to change things up a bit.

Oh yeah, a few people have been asking me what I am going to do with my hair.  I guess it can get a little wild and unruly and they're just concerned...IDK.  Here's my plan: grow it out for about 2 years until it's obnoxiously big and long and then cut it all of and donate it to Locs of Love!!!!  Anybody have any experience with this organization??  Tips??

Lastly, I still haven't found a hairstyle to sport for this formal event which is in, 8 days.  Wait a minute....I haven't even found a dress!  My to-do list is off the chain!

Let me hop to it.

Ciao!
